Hugh Jackman says he is thrilled to see the film
Hugh Jackman recently took to social media to applaud Austin Butler for his amazing performance in Baz Luhrmann's Elvis film.
The X-Men star took to his Instagram to enjoy the film after watching it at the theater with his wife Deborah-Lee Furness in New York on Tuesday.
In one clip, the Greatest Showman actor tagged the director's name in the caption, saying, "You've done it again, Elvis is incredible."
"Everyone went crazy. The music, the visuals, the acting, the production design - everything is just so beautifully done. It's so much fun and I highly recommend that you all go out to see it," added the 53-year-old. Insisted.
Jackman also praised Butler for justifying his role as a great musician.
“Austin crushes, you crush it as Elvis. You did an amazing job,” commented the Australian actor.
He continued, "Tom Hanks - you're always incredible, but as Colonel Tom Parker, you're just amazing. We absolutely loved it."
Jackman ended the short video and praised Luhrmann and his wife, Katherine Miller, saying, "Baz and CM, you're one of the greatest teams out there."
"I'm thrilled, thrilled, thrilled that you're making movies because it's special," he concluded.
