Julia Roberts to receive Icon Award for 'Huge and Famous Career'
Julia Roberts has been announced as the winner of the prestigious Academy Museum Gala Icon Award for her incredible contribution to the Hollywood industry.
The Pretty Woman star will receive accolades at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures' second-annual gala in October 2022.
Jacqueline Stewart, Academy Museum director and president, released a statement, "Throughout her wide and celebrated career, Julia has embraced iconic characters and memorable roles."
"We are thrilled to honor his continued excellence in the industry and contribution to the arts," the stewards declared.
The 54-year-old actor will make his much-awaited return to the rom-com with Ticket to Paradise alongside George Clooney.
Directed by Ol Parker, the film will release on 29 September 2022.
