Prince Andrew has 'nothing to say' to officials probing the Epstein scandal

Prince Andrew has 'no intention' to help authorities investigate convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein

Prince Andrew reportedly has 'no intention' to help US authorities investigate convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein as pressure mounts on the FBI to investigate those linked to Epstein and convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell.

Days after Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison for procuring minors for sex as part of Epstein's sexual abuse ring, a source told Mirror UK: "Andrew's opportunity to speak to US officials No intentions. He has nothing to say and nothing to add."

It comes after Prince Andrew had previously assured officials that he would help them investigate Epstein and Maxwell's twisted sex ring.

Meanwhile, the insider continued: "He sees no reason why anyone would want to talk to him and now that his case is settled with Virginia Giuffre, he considers the matter settled."

For those unaware, Andrew was accused of sexual assault by Virginia Giuffre, who alleged that the Duke of York abused her in early 2000 when she was a minor.

The matter was settled out-of-court by Prince Andrew after the Duke agreed to pay Giuffre £12 million, although he has no recollection of meeting her.

The comments came after attorney Lisa Bloom told a New York federal court during Maxwell's sentencing: "Everyone associated with Epstein and Maxwell should be carefully investigated. We call on the FBI to conduct a thorough investigation of Prince Andrew." "
