Tessa Thompson talks about her character Valkyrie in the upcoming Marvel film Thor 4
Tessa Thompson recently made an interesting revelation about her character in her upcoming film, Thor: Love and Thunder.
As the release of the much-awaited Marvel sequel draws closer, the cast of the film are sharing their experience of working with the characters on the sets.
Amidst all this, Tessa recently opened up about her character Valkyrie in an interview and explained how her growth was taken care of in this installment of the franchise.
Speaking to Yahoo Entertainment via comicbook, Thompson revealed that Valkyrie's sexuality will be a major plot point in the film.
"It becomes the only story, especially in a film like this, where you obviously don't have a lot of room for story," he shared, referring to the film's short runtime.
She continued, "So there was a lot of conversation about how to deal with Valkyrie. And I feel really good, personally, that's where we arrived. I hope she's a character that fans will love." Will continue to connect, leaving plenty of time for us to seek him throughout his humanity."
However, Thompson revealed that Valkyrie may not end with a romantic match, which according to him is not a plot point at all.
She explained, "But whether or not she finds love in this movie doesn't mean she's still not a wonderfully queer character who is open to finding love when it makes sense."
As far as the romance in the film goes, Valkyrie isn't the only one clad in pink as Chris Hemsworth's Thor prepares to be reunited with his ex-girlfriend, Jane Foster, in the film. However Foster has some surprises of her own as she now appears in Thor's life wielding her hammer, Mjolnir.
