LALMUSA: PPP leader Chaudhary Qamar Zaman Kaira said on Wednesday that the PTI-led government has made the country a den of corruption. Talking to reporters, Kaira said that in the past, when PPP leaders used to mention the increasing corruption in the country, they used to quarrel.
He said that now global organizations have confirmed that corruption has increased in the country. Kaira said that the Prime Minister is using the slogan to fight corruption but in reality he has not done anything to end the corrupt practices prevalent in the country.
The PPP leader said as per the global body there is no governance and rule of law in the country. Kaira, who was earlier with former General Musharraf, used to say that she had evidence against opposition leaders, but did nothing.
He said that Imran Khan had allegedly raised false slogans against corruption. He said accountability adviser Shahzad Akbar was thrown out of despair. Kaira said that the country is surrounded by a serious economic crisis.
