Queen Elizabeth II cannot present a special commemorative medal to Prince Andrew on his birth anniversary because he no longer works for the royal family.
The Queen traditionally presents commemorative medals to senior members of the Royal Family on the occasion of her birth anniversary and is expected to do the same for her Platinum Jubilee this year.
Andrew could face the wrath of the monarch if a US court finds him guilty of a civil offense.
Podcaster Christina Garibaldi has claimed the Queen cannot present "awards" to some non-working members of the royal family, including Prince Andrew.
However, some royal experts believe Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could receive "medals" despite "stepping down" as senior active executive members.
There are approximately 400,000 medals that will be awarded this year to those who have served the Crown.
Health care workers, frontline workers and many others, including members of the royal family who raised the flag, will be honored and given medals for their services.
It is still unclear whether the Queen will award the medal to Prince Andrew and non-working members of the royal family such as Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan.
Royally Us co-host Christine Ross responded to a question about it: "My guess is maybe don't see how interesting it is to be like this."
The host added: "It wouldn't be great to award a medal to Prince Andrew right now, but only time will tell if she respects Prince Harry or Meghan in the same way."
He continued: "Well, Prince Harry and Meghan are working on their charity and mental health with things like this. They're doing their fair share of good deeds."
