MIRANSHAH: Security forces on Sunday launched an intelligence-based operation on information about the presence of terrorists at Thal in North Waziristan district.
Inter-Services Public Relations said in a press release that two terrorists Gayur and Bahauddin were killed during the encounter.
It added that a huge cache of arms and ammunition have also been recovered from the terrorists. The slain terrorists were involved in terrorist activities against security forces, targeted killings and kidnappings for ransom, the release said.
