Bella Hadid Claims Instagram Shadowbans Her Posts

Bella Hadid, who has never shied away from voicing her support for oppressed Palestinians, recently took to Instagram to ask her posts on the platform to be shaded.

Taking to social media on April 15, the supermodel revealed that the Facebook-owned app has 'disabled' her from updating her story.

"My Instagram has disabled me from my story - pretty much only when it's Palestine based I'm going to admit," she wrote.

She claimed, "When I post about Palestine I immediately get shadowed and almost 1 million fewer of you see my stories and posts."

Hadid also told her nearly 50 million followers on the platform that she's been trying to post for two hours, but Instagram won't let her share Palestine-related updates.

Earlier in March, Hadid raised a question over the visible discrimination in condemning persecution in various parts of the world as she called for an equal level of response against Muslim suffering as outrage against the Russian invasion of Ukraine. .

The Palestinian-American supermodel spoke out about the ongoing exploitation of Muslims around the world as people decided to keep quiet about the injustice.

Hadid's post read, "Question yourself, question how quietly you walked around other injustices, the footprint we leave here will be the most obvious one we have left in a long time."

"If it's feeling like war for the first time in a few years, you don't belong to the world. War is forever, and the position we take during it is also forever," she told Muslims in Palestine and China. Pointed to a biased response to suffering.
