Meghan Markle won't stop, new book revealed
Renowned biographer Tom Bower makes startling claims about Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex in his upcoming book.
The author claimed Harry's then-fiancée Meghan spoke about her relationship with the press in an interview in 2017 while she was "ordered" to "maintain silence about sensitive topics".
Prince Harry's girlfriend spoke to journalist Sam Kashner for Vanity Fair in 2017, at the time her engagement to Prince Harry was still a mystery to the world.
Bower claimed Meghan wanted her interview to focus on her philanthropy and activism. However, she let it go that she was "in love" with Harry, which became the cover story of that year's September issue of the magazine.
Despite the Duchess' complaints, publication of the interview went ahead, Bower wrote. And, even though he barred his then-fiancé from talking to the journalist about him, "Harry remained utterly loyal".
In an excerpt from the book published by The Times, Bower claimed: "It was impossible to reverse the narrative. Unlike other young women who married Windsor, it seemed that Meghan would not remain silent.
"In London, Harry's family and his advisors were subdued. This was not an issue, as some would later insist about Meghan's management or mismanagement of the palace. Nothing could have been done .
"The terrified prince ignored warnings that Meghan was causing trouble for the palace."
