Kate Middleton, Prince William break strict rules at Queen's Easter service

Kate Middleton and Prince William Once Upon a Time Late at Queen Elizabeth's Easter Church Service in 2018

Kate Middleton and Prince William don't mess around often, but if they do, so does the cameras present, just like when they were late at Queen Elizabeth's Easter church service in 2018!

According to The Mirror, it is a famous Easter tradition for the royal family to attend a church service with the Queen at St George's Chapel in Windsor.

Unlike a Christmas church service, however, family members do not attend outright, and instead follow a tradition that orders the most senior member of the family to come last.

This means, the queen is usually the last to arrive, standing in line outside the family and waiting until she comes to follow him inside the church.

However, in 2018, Kate and William were the last to arrive, but not because of their tardiness at the end.

Soon after reports suggested the Cambridges were stuck in traffic on the M4 on their way to Windsor, Kate was also pregnant with her youngest child, Prince Louis.

When they finally arrived, the service had begun and they had to enter the chapel quietly.

It is understood the Queen let the little accident go, and soon there were pictures of both Kate and William smiling!
