Commenting on the same, a Palace source told The Mirror: "When the Duke of Edinburgh died, Prince Andrew was straight out of the block in front of the cameras, which was deemed completely inappropriate within the family."
The insider added: “Now that this situation has come to the fore, some believe he is manipulating his position to his advantage.”
"The Duke of York's reputation precedes him and he has made no secret that he is unwilling to fade into the background as much as everyone else wants him to," the source concluded.
