Millie Bobby Brown reveals she learned her American accent by watching the show on Disney TV
British actress Millie Bobby Brown is reportedly in secret talks with Disney executives for a multimillion-dollar deal for a possible future in the Star Wars series.
Brown, who rose to popularity for his role as Eleven in Netflix's sci-fi drama series Stranger Things, is in talks with Disney executives - and may have a £12 million payout.
According to media reports, the 18-year-old Enola Holmes actress, her father and manager Robert is already friends with franchise boss Kathleen Kennedy, who is currently overseeing TV and film projects in the Star Wars universe for Disney.
It's been reported that Brown, who is currently making million dollars from an episode for the new series in the Netflix saga, could get 15 times that for the Star Wars flick.
A source revealed that, "Brown is on Disney's radar for new Star Wars projects. He was in touch with Kathleen, who would be looking to star in a movie or play a central role in one of the new TV projects for Disney Plus. are aware of the desire."
The talks are informal but there is huge mutual respect, the insider revealed.
“Disney executives know just how much of an icon she is already and what she brings in terms of appeal to audiences aged 10 to 30. She could easily take home $15m for the first film or series,” The source said.
Meanwhile, Brown has Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 and Enola Holmes 2 commitments about to end, but he has time on next year's schedule if things move quickly.
