Elon Musk has responded to a petition filed by his transgender daughter in a California court asking to change her name according to the new gender identity and break up with the billionaire.
According to Reuters, a petition was filed in April at Los Angeles County Superior Court in Santa Monica for both a name change and a new birth certificate showing her new gender identity.
This recently came to the fore in some online media reports.
Former Xavier Alexander Musk, who recently turned 18 in California, has asked the court to change his gender identity from male to female and enter his new name, according to court documents available online .
Javier Alexander's mother is Justin Wilson, who divorced Musk in 2008.
Meanwhile, Elon Musk recently took to Twitter and wished all the fathers a Happy Father's Day with a sweet message for their kids.
He said, "Happy Father's Day."
Responding to his daughter's request in another tweet, Musk said, "I love all my kids so much."
