Jennifer Aniston opens up about the 'challenging' experience filming 'Murder Mystery 2'

Jennifer Aniston talks about working in upcoming film 'Murder Mystery 2' amid Ukraine-Russia dispute

Jennifer Aniston shoots Murder Mystery 2 in Europe amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

During her chat with People magazine, the Friends alum talked about filming the sequel to the 2019 Netflix comedy with Adam Sandler.

The 53-year-old star explained, "It was three months away from home. And it was challenging, simply because I hadn't been away from my dogs since [the start of the pandemic]."

"Also, Ukraine was a stone's throw away," she said.

Aniston said she thought it was "too useless" to make a comedy film at the time, but reminded herself that people need a reason to stay positive.

"I reminded myself that's what people want. People want to laugh. People need comedy. People like not to think for a minute," she said.

"The past few years have taught us all that you can't sweat the little things, be thankful for every single day," she shared.

Aniston said, "It was nice to slow down and be able to say, 'It's going to take me two months to digest what I just did and think about what's going to happen next.
