Heard could face nearly $8 million in damages after losing the Blockbuster defamation lawsuit.
The New York Post reported that the Aquaman actor had gone bankrupt after which Heard would sell his assets to pay compensation to Depp.
Jeremiah Denton, a legal expert, said the Pirates of the Caribbean star could confiscate his California home if the actor is unable to pay damages to Depp.
"[Depp] may initiate collection proceedings so that he can pay [Herds] if he has salary or salary-type income," the outlet quoted Denton as saying.
"He can attach her assets which basically means confiscate them. He can get her assets, sell them and take cash," Denton said,
Meanwhile, Hurd may be forced to use a Tesla Model X - an expensive gift from his ex Elon Musk - to pay Depp.
