Kelly Clarkson is not backing down from a 'bad' divorce battle with ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, who has reportedly refused to consider any settlement ideas.
According to US Weekly, an insider revealed that The Voice alum "doesn't even want to entertain the idea of agreeing to a deal".
The 39-year-old singer is doing everything possible to devise a legal strategy with which she will fight her ex over the financial phase of the divorce battle.
"She is devoting 100 percent of her free time to test preparation," the source said. "When not filming her talk show, she hangs out with Laura Wasser (her lawyer)".
The former couple successfully reached an agreement regarding the custody of their two children. However, neither of them is ready to give up their finances.
"She won't even entertain the idea of settling down with Brandon. She won't get a penny from him that hasn't been ordered by the judge. It's going to be bad," the outlet reported.
