Prince Harry and Prince Andrew will lose key positions if the Queen is to be believed by royal experts
Pro-monarchy royal experts are urging Queen Elizabeth to step down her son Prince Andrew and grandson Prince Harry as cousins of the kingdom.
The Queen recently stripped Andrew of his military titles and royal patronage over sexual assault, while Prince Harry is in favor of stepping down from his royal duties.
Prince Harry is sixth-in-line to the British throne while Andrew is ninth-in-line.
An article published in a British newspaper said Prince Andrew would take over by default if Queen Elizabeth suddenly became ill during the absence of Prince Charles and Prince William, who are scheduled to travel abroad.
The newspaper stressed the need for an amendment to the Regency Act of 1937, urging the Queen to make Princess Anne the stand-in monarch.
Responding to the article, royal biographer Angela Levine said: "The royals and courtiers should not be intimidated by Harry's reaction. Millions of people will support the decision. I think Andrew will feel hurt and sad but it's the right thing to do." "
