Kanye West is reportedly at a major loss for having canceled his two-week appearance at Coachella 2022 just weeks before the event.
According to TMZ, the Donda 2 hit-maker lost $8 million to pull out of the much-anticipated show.
The outlet also reported that the organizers also plan to pay the Chicago native $500,000 in production costs.
Furthermore, the publication also claimed that some insiders confirmed West's plans to bail at his concert gig sometime, long before his social media announcement.
The 44-year-old reportedly did not attend rehearsals for the show, unlike other cast members who prepare for months before taking the stage at the festival.
In addition, the organizers are now eyeing The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia to keep the show at West's location.
"The Weeknd will pay what Kanye was expected to earn for his participation," The Sun reported.
