Kim Kardashian slams Debra Messing in the premiere episode of her new Hulu series, 'The Kardashians'
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has responded to actress Debra Messing's 2021 tweet where she criticized her for hosting an episode of the comedy-skit show, Saturday Night Live.
The 41-year-old fashion mogul slammed Messing in the premiere episode of her new Hulu series The Kardashians, which aired Thursday.
Responding to Messing's tweet, the SKIMS founder said, "A girl from Will & Grace came out and said she didn't know why I would be chosen as a host, but it's like, why do you care?"
"I don't comment to humiliate people, especially another woman," she said. "If you think so, man, cool — tune in."
Earlier, in September 2021, just after the announcement of Kardashian's appearance on SNL as host, Messing tweeted, "Why Kim Kardashian? I mean, I know she's a cultural icon, but SNL did not host Usually, who are the actors who are out there to promote a movie, TV show, or album launch. Am I missing something?"
Meanwhile, Kim made an unexpected hit SNL hosting debut on October 9, 2021. She also met her now-boyfriend, comedian Pete Davidson, on the show, in which she portrayed the Disney couple Jasmine and Aladdin.
Later, The Wrap reported that the episode received the highest ratings of the season so far in the dominant 18–49 demographic.
