Rihanna fears being 'a bad mom' for not wanting gender-reveal party

Rihanna voices fears and concerns over the future of her motherhood aspirations

Rihanna expressed concerns about her chance of being a 'good enough' mom amid future mom duties.

The singer broke it all down in her latest cover story for the May issue of Vogue. There she talked about her dislike of gender reveal parties and recalled a conversation she had with her doctor.

“I asked my doctor: Is there anything wrong with me not doing this? Because people keep asking me,” she recalled.

"Am I a bad mom? When we're ready to tell the world, we'll let them know."

During the interview, Rihanna also admitted that she's not more interested in the traditional gender disclosure shower than in rowdy parties.

"No brunch, no blush tones. And no animal-shaped anything," she admitted to the outlet.

"I mean it's lit for a lot of people — I've planned some baby showers myself — it just doesn't sound right to me."

"Personally, I want a party. I want everyone to keep plastering and crawling. And it has to be co-ed! Don't put me on a wicker chair somewhere with gifts at my feet, where everyone is staring at me," she added before concluding.
