Meghan Markle furious at magazine angle for her story about philanthropy
Meghan Markle calls out Buckingham Palace after disagreement on her latest magazine cover.
The Duchess of Sussex, leaving her philanthropy and activism behind, sat down for an interview with Vogue for her issue 'She's Just Wild About Harry'.
In his book Revenge: Meghan, Harry and the War Between the Windsors by author Tom Bower, Mr Bower said: "Meghan's unprecedented brazenness took Buckingham Palace by surprise - and electrified the British media.
"The interview triggered sensational reactions: Meghan had used their relationship to promote herself.
"The Hollywood-doing of the royal family sealed Meghan's fate as Harry's fiancé."
Mr Bower claimed Meghan was "hysterical" when she called her PR firm Sunshine Sachs in an interview about the Palace's "fury" and questioned why the focus was not on her philanthropy and activism.
He added: "Historically, he described the fury of Buckingham Palace in 'Wild About Harry'.
“Sunshine Sachs, Meghan said, should have made sure her comments about Harry were removed.
"Why was her philanthropy and activism not noticed?"
During the interview with the magazine, Meghan said: "We are a couple. Were in love."
She continued: "I'm sure there will be a time when we have to come forward and present ourselves and tell stories, but I hope what people will understand is that this is our time.
"It's us. It's part of what makes it so special, that it's just ours. But we're happy. I love a great love story."
According to Mr Bower, Harry had "ordered" Meghan to "maintain silence about sensitive subjects" including him and their relationship.
