Prince Harry issues jubilee reservation over Hoda Kotb interview

Prince Harry requested to stand on Queen's balcony, which was resisted by advisers

Author says Prince Harry used his Invictus Games interview to express anger at Queen's aides.

Tom Bower claims the Duke of Sussex urged the Queen's officials to have him and Meghan Markle stand with the monarch on the balcony of Buckingham Palace - a request was 'resisted' by his advisers.

"The threat of allowing the meeting surfaced six days later."

"Harry couldn't resist taking his anger out on an American NBC TV reporter."

In an interview for the NBC Today show, the Duke told host Hoda Kotb that he wants the Queen to be surrounded by the 'right' people.

Mr Bower said: "Within those few minutes on television, Harry had demonstrated the danger of his presence at the Jubilee celebrations.

"Everything was about myself and Meghan."

Harry said of his meeting with the Queen: "It was great to be with her. It was great to see her... she's in great form."

"He's always had such a great sense of humor with me and I'm just making sure he stays safe and has the right people around him.
