Future King Prince Charles is looking to mend his broken ties with younger son Prince Harry and daughter-in-law Meghan Markle.
Reports of a fix of the relationship come after the heir to the throne's emotional meeting with his grandchildren Archie and Lillibet during the Queen's platinum jubilee celebrations.
According to royal expert Katie Nicholl, Prince Charles is fully looking forward to starting to mend broken ties with the Duke of Sussex and the Duchess.
Nicole said "I know Charles absolutely wants to start fixing that broken relationship with Harry."
The royal expert continued, the private meeting was probably "the very beginning" of his efforts to repair the fence, and "paved the way for some more conciliation talks."
"He loves his son but he wants to forgive his son for everything. He wants to mend that relationship and move on," Nicole said.
"A big part of him is he wants to be a grandfather and see those grandchildren."
Earlier, multiple reports quoted a senior royal source as claiming that the future king's first meeting with his granddaughter Lilibet was "very emotional".
Prince Charles and Camilla are said to be "absolutely thrilled" to see Harry and Meghan and their children during a recent visit to Britain.
