Prince Harry and Meghan Markle worried about their trip to Australia
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were very concerned about the outcome of their royal visit.
The Sussexes toured Australia in 2018 and received an 'enthusiastic' response from the locals.
However, the pair was 'sad' on the internet to see the lewd comments.
Author Tom Bower: "The Commonwealth, all agreed, would be enhanced by the birth of the royal family's first mixed-race child in the contemporary era.
"Harry and Meghan will be at the forefront of modernizing the monarchy.
"During those first days, the tour was perfect.
"His daily success, recorded by flashing photographs, sent Republicans in Australia into a retreat."
However, Mr Bower said the mood at Sussex's headquarters was "on the contrary, pathetic".
He added: "Every night, Harry used to scour social media looking for crappy comments on the internet.
"Every morning he and Meghan turned on their phones to surf the Internet.
"Slim, they flared up at the slightest criticism.
"Both bombarded their employees with demands to remove the criticism."
Mr Bower also claimed that Harry "inflamed feelings" by "repeated comparisons" between Meghan and his late mother Princess Diana.
He said the Sussexes had "convinced themselves" that the successful visit had "blessed them with the magic of Diana".
