Bollywood actress Preity Zinta celebrated her 47th birthday with family in Los Angeles and shared a glimpse of the celebrations on social media.
Taking to Instagram, the Kal Ho Na actor posted stunning pictures from her special day with her husband Gene Goodenough, her brother Manish Zinta, her mother Neelprabha Zinta and a few others.
Sharing the pictures, Preity said that she spent most of the day doing mommy duties as the couple welcomed twins last year through surrogacy.
He wrote, 'Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes and all of your love. This birthday was like no other. We stayed at home and I spent most of the day cleaning and sterilizing the milk bottles for the babies, then feeding, burping and changing nappies.”
She continued: "I can't believe I'm saying this but I didn't find time to put on a nice outfit and get everything ready. Despite all this, this birthday was special because I had my little ones and It was just a family affair."
In the pictures, the Veer-Zaara actor wore a yellow coordinating outfit for the occasion. In the first picture, Preeti is being given a piece of cake by Jean and she is seen in selfies with her family and friends in the other entries.
Fans and friends including Sussanne Khan, Manisha Koirala and Dia Mirza wished the star a happy birthday soon after sharing the post.
Earlier, in November, Preity had revealed that she and Jean have become parents to twins Jai and Jiya. In a post, she wrote: "Hello everyone, I wanted to share my amazing news with you all today. Jean and I are so happy and our hearts are filled with so much gratitude and so much love that we're celebrating our twins Jay Welcome Zinta. Goodenough and Zia Zinta Goodenough to our family."
