Johnny Depp is being called out for promoting 'massive display of self-pity'
Johnny Depp accused him of employing a "pity-poor-me shtick" with his "robotic" musical skills and reportedly 'teenage' percussion accompaniment.
This allegation has been made by a former music editor of The Guardian.
The piece began with a blow-by-blow description of the "pity-poor-me shtick" Depp is being accused of employing.
Hahn also shot the musical Serenade and admitted "they [got] a handful of tracks that are clearly meant to play for Depp's image, and his own self-perception, of which he wrote two."
"Those two - unsurprisingly, given the quality of the other compositions - are musically the weakest, if most lyrically manifest."
He even referenced the lyrics to a song, and described how the words "'You're sitting like a seven-year-old itchy dog / You keep serving fast to make a barrel of fish'."
Is "Big Time... [Expective]" punctuated by a low pitched percussion accompaniment. It's juvenile and asin and not very good."
